“Get Off Your Donkey” concludes this Sunday!

Luke chapter 10 shares one amazing story. It’s a story that we have given attention to for the past four weeks. My hope and prayer is that it has been a story that you will never forget. “Get off your donkey” is a phrase that I’m hearing people use! Perhaps this will become part of the ValleyPoint vernacular as we seek to do what Jesus calls us to do. We wrap up the series this Sunday, and I couldn’t me more excited about the two verses that conclude the parable of the Good Samaritan. Read it here before Sunday and come ready to be challenged!

Don’t miss the opening. Our team has put together another memorable day…be sure to arrive a few minutes early!

Just For You…

+ Friend Day 2014 – Sunday, October 5thWe are creating a special day to enjoy ValleyPoint with a friend (or two!). Our goal is to welcome an additional 100 friends on this Sunday. It will be an incredible day you will not want to miss. Extend some invites, fill the seat (or even the row) next to you!

+ Students (6th-12th grade):  The student ministry will not meet this Sunday evening. They meet again on the Bethel Road Campus on Sunday, October 5th. Donuts and Apples will be served for our 6th-12th grade students between the two gathering times in the cafeteria this Sunday morning.

+ Membership Class:  Our next membership class will be held on Monday, October 6th at 6:30 pm, at our Bethel Road Campus. You can sign-up for this class on the Connection Card this Sunday. The membership class at ValleyPoint will help you find opportunities to connect as well as understand our vision for serving the communities around us.

+ Child Dedication:  The next child dedication at ValleyPoint will be Sunday, October 26th. Classes for parents are offered on Sunday, October 12th or 19th at 10:15am at the middle school. This class sets the course for how the church can partner with you in your child’s spiritual development. The class is required for participation. Questions can be directed to Dan McInnes at

Let’s finish this series! See you on Sunday…

P.S. Our family has extended some invites to our Friend Day! We’re anxiously awaiting responses. Join us in making this a special day. Who will be your guest?
