Communion Sunday and the conclusion of “Life Verse 2015!”

“Life Verse” concludes this Sunday. The Scriptures instruct leaders to encourage those who are following Christ well.¬†After what I have witnessed at ValleyPoint throughout the month of January, I must say that I am very, very proud of you! I have received many encouraging words, notes, and emails. Thank you for working hard to secure a time, place, and plan so that you can look for a specific verse to claim as your own. Great work! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

It was fun watching you last week write your verses on the display for this year. The weather was not exactly friendly last Sunday! Don’t worry, if you missed last week…you’ll still have the chance to participate. Also, you can listen to the talk from last week here.

We also will have the chance on Sunday to remember what Jesus has done for us as we celebrate Communion. This is always a special, reflective time at ValleyPoint. I hope you can be there as we consider what Jesus has done for us.

Just For You…

+ ValleyPoint Membership Class – Monday, January 26th: This informative event will give you a great picture of the history of ValleyPoint. It will share what makes us unique and how we intend to serve the communities around us. It will also share opportunities for you to connect with our mission of pointing people to real relationships that inspire real significance. You can register here.

+ Life Groups registration: Life Groups will resume meeting again in February. These groups are a great way to develop real relationships with others, as well as an excellent next step towards living a life of greater significance. Everyone (even if you are currently part of a group) will need to sign-up on the Connection Card this Sunday. If you would like more information about groups at ValleyPoint, stop by the Life Group table in the lobby on Sunday.

+ “Deeper Roots” Seminars: Join us for one our “Deeper Roots” seminars – Wednesday and/or Thursday night from 7-8:30pm at the Bethel Road Campus. Light refreshments and childcare will be provided.

Topic #1: How Can I Develop and Maintain a Healthy Marriage? Wednesday, January 28th

Topic #2: How Can I Better Understand Biblical Beliefs? Thursday, January 29th

+ Love Day Items: If you were prepared to bring Love Day items with you last Sunday, but could not due to the weather, we still want you to participate. Simply bring your items to the church office at the Bethel Road Campus (Monday – Thursday) of this next week. Thank you!

Grace + Peace. I’ll see you on Sunday for the conclusion of “Life Verse.”
