“The 3 R’s,” Prayer for our Dominican Republic team, Love Day, and a Baptism…ValleyPoint is busy!

In Matthew 16 we find a remarkable paragraph of Scripture that will provide our challenge this Sunday. It speaks of “the church” and how it will prevail. I can’t wait to share with you from this conversation that Jesus had with his close followers. We will use his words to have a real conversation centered on two questions…

+ What is the church?

+ Who is it for?

If you missed either of the first two talks in “The 3 R’s,” you can listen here. Also, be in prayer for our team that is currently serving in the Dominican Republic! Their work has begun. Ask God to give them safety and love for the people they serve.

Just For You…

+ Our next Love Day – Saturday, February 21st (save the date): We’ll share a breakfast at the Bethel Road Campus beginning at 8:30am, and then go, serve, and love in our local communities for approximately two hours. We have a great line-up of opportunities that will give you the chance to make a difference in the lives of others. Don’t miss this opportunity share Christ’s love right where we live!

+ OnPoint Students (6-12th grade): Donuts and apples will be served from 10:25-10:55am in the Garnet Valley Middle School cafeteria this Sunday! And…all students are invited to hang out at the Bethel Road Campus starting at 4:30pm. It’s a fun night, and dinner is provided.

+ Baptism – Sunday, February 22nd: If you have trusted is Jesus alone to save you and are ready to make that decision public…CONGRATULATIONS! You are invited to participate in our next baptism celebration. This event will take place between our two gatherings on Sunday, February 22nd at 10:30am, at the Garnet Valley Middle School pool. You can register here.

I feel compelled once again to thank you for being a church with a heart for people. It is fun to watch. See you on Sunday!
