Seeing Through the Fog, Love Day, and Discover ValleyPoint!

We experienced a great Easter celebration at ValleyPoint! Wow. What a day. We had a record number of attenders, many new guests, and a special time starting our new series – Seeing Through the Fog. We’ll share some of the exciting stats with you this Sunday. If you missed the first talk, you can listen here.

I’ll be sharing a unique story this week found in Scripture that will be a great follow-up to the conversation we began on Easter. I’m going to keep it a surprise until Sunday! It’s a memorable story that will help us think through those times when we wonder, why? Have you ever felt “ripped off” by something God did or didn’t do for you? We’re talking about it this Sunday.

If you brought someone to Easter and they enjoyed it, why not reach out and see if they want to join you again this weekend? This could be a great way to help them find community within ValleyPoint.

Just For You…

+ Discover ValleyPoint: For anyone looking to know more about ValleyPoint Church, you are invited to attend Discover ValleyPoint this Sunday, April 12th at 10:30am. This is a brief introduction to who we are as a church. A member of our host team will help direct you to the class location.

+ Love Day: Our next Love Day will be Sunday, April 19th. On this day, we’ll be collecting items for Safe Harbor Shelter of Chester County and the Food Pantry at Siloam United Methodist Church. We’ll also have the chance on this day to prepare for our annual Garnet Valley Middle School Staff Appreciation Lunch. Our collection days are great ways for you to help local organizations who are serving others. It’s simple. Bring a few items with you to church, and we’ll take care of the rest!

+ OnPoint Students (6th-12th grade): OnPoint meets this Sunday, April 12th at the Bethel Road Campus – 4:30pm. Dinner will be served! View the rest of the OnPoint calendar here.

+ ValleyPoint Volunteer Expo: On Sunday, April 26th, we will host a volunteer expo in the cafeteria at the middle school. You will have the opportunity to investigate all of the ways you can get involved and volunteer. Everyone is invited to participate!
