Don’t miss the launch of “Compassion” this Sunday at ValleyPoint!

We begin a brand new series this Sunday called “Compassion.” Does your speech reflect compassion? Do you intentionally slow the pace of life to see real needs? Is there a compassionate act that needs your attention?

Please make a strong effort to be a part of this series. Over the next three weeks, we will investigate biblical compassion. What does Scripture specifically say about this word and its impact? We’re also going to do more than just talk about compassion. On Sunday, May 24th, we’ll have the chance to act in compassionate ways through packing 10,000 meals for the impoverished. We had the opportunity to do this last year, and it was a fantastic experience. On this day, we will also welcome back guest worship band Willet. The series will conclude with a look at practical ways we can involve ourselves in compassionate activities through ValleyPoint Church.

Just For You…

+ Love Day – collection this Sunday, May 17th: If you picked up an “item to bring” this past Sunday, don’t forget to bring that with you to drop-off this Sunday, May 17th! Thank you for being generous and making the UrbanPromise Day Camps, as well as ValleyPoint’s Vacation Bible School memorable. Simply drop-off your items and we’ll take care of the rest.

+ Help ValleyPoint pack 10,000 meals on Sunday, May 24th! This is our chance to make a difference and help feed the hungry! This fun, hands-on and rewarding experience takes place in the middle school cafeteria from 10:30-11:30am. Just show-up, bring your family or a friend and be ready to help! We will partner with an organization called Stop Hunger Now. Their goal is to get food and life-saving aid to the world’s most vulnerable people. Be a part of something significant on Sunday, May 24th.

Let’s be compassionate! See you on Sunday…

P.S. Please join me in praying for all impacted by the recent Amtrak accident in Philadelphia.
