“Off the Fence” continues this Sunday at ValleyPoint!

“Off the Fence” continues this Sunday where we will discover another way to get off the fence and live life the way God intended. Our BIG IDEA this week is, get off the fence of “can’t stop.” We’ll talk specifically about temptation. This is a tough topic. It’s tough because we all probably have something that we feel we can’t stop. It’s an area of temptation…an area of weakness. We tend to keep those things secret because we don’t want anyone else to know.

What if…we could gain control of these “can’t stop” areas? It can be done. We’ll share practical ways this Sunday!

If you missed the talk from last week, it was a pleasure to have my brother Aaron Koehler speak. You can listen here as he launched our series with the challenge that you can’t change your past, but Christ can change your future.

Just For You…

+ Love Day – Saturday, June 20th: We’re running our very first Love Day in June! This day will be more of a “grass roots” effort where you are encouraged to love right where you live. On Saturday, June 20th simply go, serve, and love a neighbor, friend, or family member. Nothing is too small. Every loving act will make a difference. An idea sheet will be available at Just For You this Sunday. Mark the date, take a bold step, and enjoy serving others!

+ Vacation Bible School: We will transform our Bethel Road Campus into the majestic Himalayan Mountains, full of icy colors, craggy terrain, and breathtaking views that kids will be excited to explore. At “Everest,” kids enter an epic adventure they will never forget! Each evening, your kids will rotate through activity stations with their Climbing Crews, which are designed to reinforce the Bible point of that day in a hands-on, fun way. After a week at “Everest,” your kids will be equipped to live out their faith. Register in the lobby or online by June 18th.

+ OnPoint (6-12th grade students) Water Slide Party: This is an annual tradition at the Bethel Road Campus! Don’t miss it – Sunday, June 14th at 4:30pm. Bring a friend.

+ Father’s Day Car Show – Sunday, June 21st: Bring your dad to church with you and then hang out in the parking lot to enjoy some incredible cars! It’s a great event for the whole family. If you have a car you are interested in registering, email Dan McInnes at

I can’t wait to see you on Sunday!
