Love Day – December 20th, 2015

Collection Love Day on Sunday, December 13th and 20th!

The compassion efforts of ValleyPoint begin close to home where we seek to be a church for the community. We believe that our primary calling is to reach and serve the people in our backyard. We do this through regular investments in the communities around us and local strategic partnerships.

For This month’s Love Day, we will partner with Sunday Breakfast Mission. Sunday Breakfast Mission serves the homeless, addicted and impoverished through Christ-centered programs to meet their spiritual, social and physical needs. Their primary goal is to restore people to right relationships with God, their families, and society.

ValleyPoint will be collecting food for Sunday Breakfast Mission to distribute to families in the Wilmington area. Please pick up your reusable bag and fill it with food to be donated. Please bring all filled bags with you to ValleyPoint Church on Sunday, December 13th and 20th at the Garnet Valley Middle School.

If you picked up one of our reusable grocery bags at church, here is the suggested shopping list below (with approximate pricing totaling about $30), but you may include what you are comfortable with purchasing. Please DO NOT include glass containers.

Go. Serve. Love.
