Love Day and The Story…this weekend at ValleyPoint!

This Saturday is our first Love Day of the new season! Please join me as we go, serve, and love the communities around us. Whether it’s picking up trash in local parks, helping at the annual “Pirate Festival” at Market Square Memorial Park in Marcus Hook, or packing meal boxes at the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Prospect Park…we have a great line-up of community partners who need our help! Let’s be the church this Saturday! I hope to see you there. You can view the full list of opportunities on Saturday here. 8:30am – Meet at the Bethel Road Campus for sign-up, breakfast, and prayer. 9:00am – Teams disperse. Serving events will end around noon.

On Sunday, we continue with “The Story.” I can’t wait to share with you how God “builds a nation” to show his love. We’ll be looking at the memorable story of Abraham and Sarah. If you purchased a book last Sunday, you can follow this story in chapter two. Books will be available for purchase ($10). You can use the book for personal or family devotions and know what narrative will be covered each Sunday.

Just For You…

+ OnPoint (6-12th grade students): Breakfast is served on Sunday from 10:30-10:55am for all students. OnPoint will also meet at the Bethel Road Campus at  4:30pm. This time of laughter, friendship, and food will be encouraging and is designed specifically for teens.

+ Friend Day: Save the date for Sunday, October 11th. On this day, our goal is to welcome 100 friends to ValleyPoint. Start thinking now of a friend (or two) you would like to invite on this special day.

+ Outgrown Sale: ValleyPoint Church is hosting our Fall/Winter Children’s Outgrown Sale on Saturday, October 17th. Looking to offload some of your things and make a few extra dollars? We would love to have you consign with us. For more information or to sign up to sell, visit the Just For You table in the lobby starting this Sunday. Registration to sell is $10. Proceeds will benefit Teal Ministries.

You are loved ValleyPoint! I’ll see you on Sunday…
