Love Day, The Story, and Baptism…this weekend at ValleyPoint!

We have a great weekend planned at ValleyPoint. Our first Love Day of 2016 takes place this Saturday, January 16th. This is our chance to make an impact close to home. Go. Serve. Love! Our day begins at 8:30am at the Bethel Road Campus. I hope to see you there. You can read about our partners below.

And…“The Story” begins again on Sunday! I cannot wait to share with you. We jump back in by investigating the life of King Solomon (chapter 13 in the book). A question to consider in preparation for Sunday: “If you could have one thing in the world, what would it be?” Solomon had to answer that one. He asked for wisdom and God gave it to him. God also gave him wealth and fame. By the end of his life, he had accumulated more and more. Solomon had it all…but still wanted more. In the midst of all these gifts, he lost sight of the Giver. He turned away from God and lost it all. There is much we can learn from the life of this ancient king.

And…we have a baptism, too! Come and cheer on those taking the next step in their friendship with God. This event will take place between our two gatherings on Sunday, January 17th at 10:30am, at the Garnet Valley Middle School pool. If you are still interested in being baptized, it is not too late. You can register here.
