Check This Out

“Life Verse” continues this Sunday!

I have been looking forward to this Sunday for quite some time. It’s one of my favorite Sundays of the year. Just the sight of people writing down verses that they plan to use as a guide for their lives is very inspiring. You will also get the chance to hear from four ValleyPoint attenders as they share their verses with us. We’re going to have a great Sunday! If you are still searching for a verse to claim, check out this list. There may be something here that challenges you.

Thanks to all who gave items for our Love Day collection last Sunday. We filled twenty-one bins that will be going with our Compassion Team to the Dominican Republic in February. Thank you for being so generous.

Just For You…

+ Card shower for Tyler, Brittany, and Kittery Gardner – Sunday, January 22nd: You are invited to a “card shower” for Tyler, Brittany, and baby Kittery this Sunday from 1-2:30pm at the Bethel Road Campus. This is our chance to welcome Tyler, our new worship leader, his wife Brittany, and help them prepare for their daughter (coming in February!). Stop anytime between 1-2:30pm to welcome, encourage, and congratulate them. Light refreshments will be served.

+ OnPoint (6th-12th grade students): All students are invited to OnPoint this Sunday. Bring a friend, and we’ll see you at 4:30pm at the Bethel Road Campus.

  • Sunday, January 29th – No OnPoint, away at WinterBlast Camp!
  • Sunday, February 5th – Super Bowl Party 6:30pm to halftime
  • Sunday, February 12th – Kick off new series ROAD TRIP!

+ Membership Class – Monday, February 5th at 7pm: This informal class will answer your questions, give you the chance to meet great people, and provide the information you need to make ValleyPoint your faith home! Beyond that, you will leave with a picture of how we point people to real relationships and real significance. It’s a fun event! Sign-up here.

+ Thank you note from Lieutenant James J. Hennigan, Station Commander, Pennsylvania State Police: Dear ValleyPoint – on behalf of the Troopers at the Pennsylvania State Police, I would like to extend my gratitude for the “survival kits for Law Enforcement Officers”  that you prepared for us. This was such a creative idea and brought a smile to everyone’s face at our Station! This kind and generous act means more than you will ever realize. The kindness and appreciation you showed means the world to our Troopers and will not be forgotten!

You are loved ValleyPoint. See you on Sunday!
