What are you fighting? Don’t miss the launch of “FIGHT” this Sunday!

What are you fighting? Would you say that you are winning the battles that matter most? The month of February has arrived, and a brand new series begins this Sunday called FIGHT. We will investigate a fascinating hero story in the Bible. It’s a story of success, failure, and redemption from the life of an Old Testament character named Samson. Through his experiences, we will discover how to win the battle of selfishness, temptation, anger, and spiritual drift.

This is a great series to share with a friend. Take a risk, extend a few invites, and fill the chairs next to you!

Just For You…

+ Real Women – Saturday, February 4th, and Tuesday, February 7th: All ladies are invited to Real Women this Saturday morning (9am – breakfast included) or next Tuesday evening (7pm). The topic of “living a life of love” will come from Ephesians 5:1-10. Don’t miss this “guilt free” talk on contentment. Real Women meets at the Bethel Road Campus and childcare is provided.

+ OnPoint (6th-12th grade students): Sunday, February 5th – OnPoint Super Bowl Party 6:30pm to halftime. Students, please help make the party a success by bringing one drink and one Super Bowl appetizer.

+ Membership Class – Monday, February 6th. This informal class will answer your questions, give you the chance to meet great people, and provide the information you need to make ValleyPoint your faith home! Beyond that, you will leave with a picture of how we point people to real relationships and real significance. It’s a fun event! Sign-up here.

+ Love Day – Saturday, February 18th: Save the date for our next serving Love Day. Breakfast will be served at the Bethel Road Campus at 8:30am. After that,  it’s time to go, serve, and love. Opportunities include:

  • Cradles to Crayons: This organization provides children from birth through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive at home and school. Participants will provide a quality check on clothing, shoes, and toys.
  • Toy Cleaning at ValleyPoint: Participants will wipe away the winter cold germs so our little ones can enjoy clean toys.
  • Grocery Shopping for Chester Families: Participants will go grocery shopping for families in need and then personally deliver those items. We will be using our Christmas Initiative to provide you with the funds needed to surprise and delight families and put smiles on their faces.

I’ll see you on Sunday for…FIGHT!
