Is God Fair? We’re seeking answers this Sunday at ValleyPoint.

The next question in our series…Is God fair? The answer may surprise you. Join me on Sunday as we discover together. Before Sunday read through Matthew 20:1-16.

WE had a fantastic opportunity this week to feed over 150 staff members at the Garnet Valley Middle School. Thank you to all who prepared food and helped serve! It was a special time. The teachers were incredibly grateful for ValleyPoint’s generosity. Go. Serve. Love!

Just For You…

+ Mother/Daughter Brunch – Saturday, May 13th: The Mother/Daughter brunch will be on Saturday, May 13th from 9-11am at The Austin Room (3729 Chichester Avenue, Upper Chichester). The cost per person is $25. All are invited to come and celebrate Mother’s Day with daughters, mothers, friends, and mentors. All ages welcome. Aisha Brooks-Lytle will be joining us as our guest speaker. Register here. The deadline to register is Monday, May 8th by noon.

+ Mother’s Day at ValleyPoint: Plan now to be part of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 14th. Your help is needed in making the day memorable. Email us a family photo or two. We will compile and show them on screen during a special Mother’s Day moment! Email pictures to photo@valleypointchurch.com. Also, guest speaker Aisha Brooks-Lytle will return to ValleyPoint to challenge and encourage on this holiday.

+ OnPoint Students (6th – 12th grade): Help students experience a memorable summer of impactful relationships and spiritual growth. Here are two opportunities to support them going to camp this summer.

  • Be sure to stop by the “Pie Face” table in the lobby this Sunday or next Sunday and nominate your favorite ValleyPoint staffer by donating to their jar. The winner will be rewarded with a pie to the face during OnPoint students on May 21st. Video results will be proudly displayed on social media for all to enjoy!
  • Let us watch the kids! Parents night out is next Friday, May 12th from 6:00 – 9:30pm at our Bethel Road Campus. We will provide pizza, snacks, drinks, games, crafts, movies, and more. This event is open to kids birth  – 5th grade. The cost is $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional sibling. All proceeds will help send our OnPoint Students to summer camp.

I can’t wait to see you on Sunday as we continue, “Is God…?”

Eric

P.S. THANKS to all who participated in the prayer event last Sunday. It was a sweet time of worshiping and praying together for the first time in the footprint of our new home.
