Celebrate Mother’s Day at ValleyPoint!

Plan now to be part of Mother’s Day at ValleyPoint. We welcome back guest speaker Aisha Brooks-Lytle. She will continue our series “Is God” by answering the question, is God nurturing? The creative team has put together some special elements for Mother’s Day. It is going to be memorable and something that encourages and inspires!

Just For You…

+ “Taste of Philly” with the Pastor – Sunday, May 21st: If you are new (or newer) to ValleyPoint, we (Eric & Tonia Koehler) would love to share a “taste of Philly” with you. This tasty meal will take place at the Bethel Road Campus at 12:30pm. Sign-up this Sunday at the Just For You area.

+ We’re packing 20,000 meals for the hungry on Sunday, May 28th: We have a memorable Sunday coming, and you are needed! We’ll be packing 20,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger during the 9:15 and 11am gatherings on May 28th. Our kids in kindergarten through 5th grade will be joining us to help us pack. Check-in for Lil’ K (birth through pre-k) will be available for both gatherings.

+ Senior Recognition – Sunday, June 4th: Graduating seniors will be contacted soon about being honored during our gatherings on June 4th. Save the date! If you have any questions, email Dan McInnes at dan@valleypointchurch.com.

+ Baptism Sunday – June 4th. If you have trusted in Jesus alone to save you, and are ready to make that decision public…CONGRATULATIONS! We invite you to make plans to participate in our next baptism celebration. This event will take place between our two gatherings. Invite friends and family to join you as we celebrate this special day as a faith community. Register here.

+ OnPoint Students (6th – 12th grade): Help students experience a memorable summer of impactful relationships and spiritual growth. Here are two opportunities to support them going to camp this summer.

  • Be sure to stop by the “Pie Face” table in the lobby this Sunday or next Sunday and nominate your favorite ValleyPoint staffer by donating to their jar. The winner will be rewarded with a pie to the face during OnPoint students on May 21st. Video results will be proudly displayed on social media for all to enjoy!
  • Let us watch the kids! Parents night out is this Friday, May 12th from 6:00 – 9:30pm at our Bethel Road Campus. We will provide pizza, snacks, drinks, games, crafts, movies, and more. This event is open to kids birth  – 5th grade. The cost is $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional sibling. All proceeds will help send our OnPoint Students to summer camp.

Looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day with you!

Eric
