Happy Father’s Day & “BLAH FAITH”…this Sunday at ValleyPoint!

Have you ever experienced “BLAH FAITH?” The word “blah” implies something that is boring or without meaningful content. Is it possible for faith in Jesus to fit that description? Jesus said many things that paint a different picture of our faith life that seems much better. However, that kind of life doesn’t appear to be what many (maybe most?) followers of Jesus experience. Have we missed something? Use the summer of 2017 to reframe your relationship with Jesus as real, dynamic, and joyful. This “delightful series on how not to be,” will focus our attention on discovering the beauty, joy, and danger of following Christ. Drop the blahs! It’s not how you want to be.

This Father’s Day will be special as we have a child dedication ceremony in each gathering. Your presence will be an encouragement to those dedicating themselves and their children.

Just For You…

+ Move In Well: Last week the entire standing seam roof on our Real Home was installed and insulated in only 2 1/2 days. Temporary electrical service and lighting illuminate our home as work continues to progress on schedule. Perhaps the most significant milestone is our newly installed water lines successfully passed hydrostatic testing last week! Please take time to pray about how you can generously be part of creating a fantastic move in experience. You can read more about “Move in Well” at myrealhome.org. We have currently raised $15,367 toward our $150,000 “Move in Well” initiative.

+ FOR RISING 6TH GRADE STUDENTS…you are invited to a night-long extravaganza. A non-stop evening of friendship, food, and unforgettable fun! Incoming sixth graders will have ample time to interact with each other as well as other OnPoint students and leaders. This is a FREE event for all those entering 6th grade in the fall of 2017. The extravaganza will depart from the Bethel Road Campus on Friday, June 23rd at 6pm and return at 11:30pm. Please RSVP to Dan McInnes at dan@valleypointchurch.com by Sunday, June 18th.

You are loved! See you on Sunday.
