Check This Out

Apologize for your faith? Necessary? We’re talking about it this Sunday!

We are now more than halfway through our summer series! Don’t be discouraged though…there are still a good number of summer days left. I must say, this summer seems to be moving quickly. Hopefully, you are getting the chance to rest and enjoy this season. On Sunday, we continue chasing ways we can get rid of “BLAH FAITH.”

1 Peter 3:15-16 will be our text. Read through it a few times before Sunday. What does this verse mean? How can it impact our lives today? What are the ramifications of the words “gentle” and “respectful?”  These are fascinating verses.

Just For You…

+ OnPoint Students (6-12th grade):  We have a group of thirty-two students and leaders going to BigStuf Camp Monday, July 24th in Panama City, Florida. Please pray for spiritual impact, safety in travel, and that our students will return connected to Christ in new and exciting ways.

+ Picnic with the Pastor – Sunday, July 30th: If you are new (or newer) to ValleyPoint, we (Eric & Tonia Koehler) would love to share a “picnic with the pastor” with you. This tasty meal will take place at the Bethel Road Campus at 12:30pm. Sign-up this Sunday at Just For You.

+ Summer BBQ Bash – Sunday, August 6th: Join us for some summer fun in the sun (and in the shade) as we kick back with a relaxing church-wide family BBQ Bash from 5-7pm at the Concord Township Park (725 Smithbridge Road, Glen Mills). Bring the following based on your last name:

  • A-G: sandwich rolls
  • H-L: juice, tea, or other beverage
  • M-S: side item or pasta salad
  • T-Z: dessert item

I’m looking forward to teaching this Sunday again! See you soon.

P.S. Great news! Over the past two weeks, we have had over twenty first-time guests. That’s fantastic. Thanks for inviting and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
