Check This Out

“Nailed It” concludes this Sunday!

We have reached the end of “Nailed It.” It has been a great journey of discovering profound truth from The Reformation that still impacts us today. Hopefully, the word “SOLA” is something you remember for a long time! We have one more sola to talk about this week – Soli Deo Gloria (to the glory of God alone).

We have a creative experience planned for you that I believe will inspire and challenge your thinking. As part of our time together, we will remember the depths of Christ’s love for all as communion is served. It is going to be a special day.

Please make plans to be at ValleyPoint as we conclude “Nailed It.” Before Sunday…read this passage from Romans 11 and 12.

Just For You…

+ Real Women – Saturday, October 7th: Ladies – come connect with other women and be encouraged this Saturday morning (9-11am) at the Bethel Road Campus. Our teaching time will focus on dealing with people. People are great except when they annoy us, hurt our feelings, or drive us crazy. Colossians 1:1-6 gives great insight into loving people. Childcare is provided. Come and bring a friend!

+ Go. Serve. Love. (Saturday, October 21st): Take a few hours of your day to go, serve, and love the communities around us. This is our chance to add value! We have a great line-up of community partners for this October Love Day. Breakfast will be served at the Bethel Road Campus at 8:30am. Then…time to make a difference where we live! Our focus this month will be on helping local public schools. We will be sending teams to Hilltop Elementary in Chichester, Talley Middle School in Wilmington, and Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills. There will also be an opportunity to write thank you cards for school teachers. You can read more about our October Love Day here.

See you on Sunday for a special day!

Eric

P.S. This Sunday will also include a time of prayer for the recent tragedy in Las Vegas as well as those impacted by the hurricane in Puerto Rico.
