“Best Of”…our final series in the school!

Our final series in the middle school begins this Sunday. In a few short weeks, we parade down Bethel Road to our new home. ONLY GOD! Many have sacrificed, many have prayed, and many have faithfully served through the years we have been a portable church in a middle school.

Before we turn the page into this new chapter of our story, we will look back on past teaching series that have impacted and guided us. We will have a lot of fun as we walk through “Best Of.” Sit back, get comfortable, grab a fresh cup of coffee, and enjoy this look into the past. I begin the series by looking into this passage.

Love Day…THIS SATURDAY, October 21st. It’s time to go, serve, and love in our communities. See details below.

Just For You…

+ Go. Serve. Love. (this Saturday, October 21st): Take a few hours of your day to serve the communities around us. This is our chance to add value! We have a great line-up of community partners for this October Love Day. Breakfast will be served at the Bethel Road Campus at 8:30am. Then…time to make a difference where we live! Our focus this month will be on helping local public schools. We will be sending teams to Hilltop Elementary in Chichester, Talley Middle School in Wilmington, and Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills. There will also be an opportunity to write thank you cards for school teachers. You can read more about our October Love Day here.

+ ValleyPoint Membership Class – Monday, October 23rd: Learn more about our vision, our structure, and what makes us tick! This class will give you the information needed to become a member of ValleyPoint Church. Beyond that, you’ll leave with a great picture of how we point people to real relationships and real significance. This class will be held at our Bethel Road Campus (6:30-8:30pm). Light refreshments will be served. Childcare is not provided. Register here.

+ Moving Timeline: Save the dates as we prepare to move.

  • Sunday, November 19th – Celebration Sunday at the middle school
  • Sunday, November 26th – Parade to New Home
  • Sunday, December 3rd – Kick-off Sunday!

+ Next baptism – Sunday, November 5th: If you have trusted in Jesus alone to save you, and are ready to make that decision public…CONGRATULATIONS! We invite you to make plans to participate in our next baptism celebration. This event will take place between our two gatherings. Invite friends and family to join you as we celebrate this special day as a faith community. Sign-up on the Connection Card this Sunday.

Have a great weekend. See you on Sunday!
