Each week, children will experience God’s Word through small-group activities, including Bible story time, games, and a simple memory verse through movement and play. Kids will also have a blast when they visit Elmer’s Clubhouse for large-group teaching time! Here, they will sing songs and interact with silly characters, such as Elmer and the Clubhouse crew, as they use what they have learned in God’s Word to help Elmer with a kid-size problem.  

Note on our 2’s class: 
This class is specifically designed for children transitioning from the Babies class, where they learn to interact with other children their age through activities and play. 

This classroom features a smaller, age-appropriate lesson led by our amazing team. The lesson includes a Bible story, a related small object lesson, and an accompanying art activity.  Since transitions can be challenging for this age group, they do not move to Clubhouse with the other classes. Instead, the room features a variety of toys for children to interact with and experience playing with their friends. 

The teaching goals of Kids Quest Jr. as a whole are part of an ages and stages plan to help your child grow spiritually. The focus for this age group is to help build a strong biblical foundation that they can build their faith on in the years to come. To help facilitate this, we spend a year in the Old Testament and then switch to a year in the New Testament, with the exception of holidays. This rotation enables children to experience foundational teachings of the Bible at least two times before transitioning into elementary school, each time at an age-appropriate, deeper level.
